O God, you declare your almighty power chiefly in showing mercy and pity: Grant us the fullness of your grace, that we, running to obtain your promises, may become partakers of your heavenly treasure; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.  Esther 7:1-6, 9-10; 9:20-22 James 5:13-4:20

ANNOUNCEMENTS:
All Parish retreat this Sunday 9/27 join everyone at Ohana Lodge 9-4  – no services at St Paul’s.

Celebration of New Ministry – Mark your calendars! On Friday, October 16, we will welcome the Rt. Rev. Thomas C. Ely, Bishop of the Episcopal Church in Vermont, clergy from around the diocese, as well area clergy and community members as we celebrate our new ministry together as the Parish of St. Paul’s. This is a fun, festive evening of wonderful liturgy and fellowship. Don’t miss it!

Do you like to read?  How about getting to know your St. Paul’s family a little better?  I am putting together the new Verger schedule that will go from October through the end of December.  We are always looking for people to read the lessons and/or the Psalm/Prayers of the People.  We also welcome more greeters and hosts.  If interested, please let me know so I can add you to the schedule.  For those already doing these various ministries, thank you!  Please let Cindy Boehm-Patenaude know if you know of any dates you will not be in church, especially around the holidays, at dbcpiccolo @gmail .com.  Thank you!

St. Paul's Fun Google Group –We have a google group that gives parishioners a way to invite others to come together for a fun activity. For example, if there's a movie that you'd like to see, a hike you'd like to go on, or any kind of fun event you would like company to, this is the place to put out the word. These activities build our connection with one another and strengthen our community! Email Jill Fischer at jill@positivecouples.com to be added to this list.

Office Volunteers needed – Can you spare 30-45 minutes a couple of times a month? We are looking for sorters, folders and assemblers for Sunday’s Bulletins. For more information please speak to Scott.

Listen Community Dinner – On September 21st, we served 82 people for dinner with seconds and take home meals. "Thank you" to each person who provided food and those who helped in the kitchen. It was an afternoon of great fellowship giving food and receiving gratitude for the delicious meal. Our next Listen Dinner will be November 16th, organized by Barwood family.

Caring Ministry Meeting- will be October 18th, 11:30 in church Chapel.

Holiday Bazaar - Please mark your calendars! November 14th will be our "Holiday Bazaar". I will be checking in with you as to what part you will play. Thank you, Jill Devins  (802-291-6832 or jdevinsvt@gmail.com)
