Welcome Back Sunday! Sunday Sept 13th is Welcome Back Sunday – We will return to two worship opportunities at 8 and 10. At both the 8 and the 10 we will have a backpack and “anything you need to make it through the week” blessing. We will also commission our Sunday School children and teachers for another year. At 9 AM that morning we will share breakfast together.

Celebration of New Ministry – Mark your calendars! On Friday, October 16, we will welcome the Rt. Rev. Thomas C. Ely, Bishop of the Episcopal Church in Vermont, clergy from around the diocese, as well area clergy and community members as we celebrate our new ministry together as the Parish of St. Paul’s. This is a fun, festive evening of wonderful liturgy and fellowship. Don’t miss it!

St. Paul's Fun Google Group –We have a google group that gives parishioners a way to invite others to come together for a fun activity. For example, if there's a movie that you'd like to see, a hike you'd like to go on, or any kind of fun event you would like company to, this is the place to put out the word. These activities build our connection with one another and strengthen our community! Email Jill Fischer at jill@positivecouples.com to be added to this list.

Brookside Nursing Home Church Services – Join us each second Sunday of the month September - June. The next service is September 13th, 2-2:40. Volunteers arrive at 1:45 to set up the room and welcome patients to the service. If you are interested in this ministry or have questions, please contact Holly.

Office Volunteers needed – Can you spare 30-45 minutes a couple of times a month? We are looking for sorters, folders and assemblers for Sunday’s Bulletins. For more information please speak to Scott.

Altar Guild Meeting –Sept 20th The Altar Guild will meet at 11:30 am in the Sanctuary. Anyone interested in finding out more about the Altar Guild or joining us in this quiet ministry is invited to join us. 

Listen Community Dinner  Thank you to those who signed up to prepare foods for Listen Dinner September 21st. We have 4 volunteers signed up to help in the kitchen and we need 1 more person to sign up, a minimum of five. More helpers are welcome to join us as well. If you are interested or have questions, please contact Holly.

Holiday Bazaar - Please mark your calendars! November 14th will be our "Holiday Bazaar". I will be checking in with you as to what part you will play. Thank you, Jill Devins  (802-291-6832 or jdevinsvt@gmail.com)

Ongoing Reminders:

Brookside Nursing Home Church Services – Please join us! - St. Paul's monthly service at Brookside Nursing Home is the second Sunday of the month from 2-2:40. If you have questions and would like to learn more about this ministry, please contact Holly or Cindy. Our next service is September 13th.

Knit and Purl Fellowship meets 1st and 3rd Monday of the month, 6:30 at the Parish House. Women, men, and children with any kind of handwork are welcome. If you have questions, please contact Holly. Our next meeting will be September 17th.  

Discretionary Fund Reminder – One the first Sunday of every month the loose offering is designated for the Parish Discretion Fund. Funds are low and need is high. These funds are used to help those in our community less fortunate than we are.  Checks may also be made out to St. Paul’s with ‘discretionary fund’ on the memo line at any time during the month.  Please be as generous as possible.

Laying on of Hands – One the first Sunday of every month those wishing to receive laying on our hands are invited to gather at the Baptismal Font (just as you entered the church) immediately after you have received communion.
