About our worship during Lent
At the heart of Christian practice is our worship.  Indeed, this commitment is embedded in our baptismal vows. This Lent we are invited to recall the origins of our worship and the meaning of the actions, prayers and symbols of the Eucharist.  This second week of Lent we will celebrate with a very simple service modeled on the earliest liturgies using the language of the Book of Common Prayer, and add a little music.
For more information about our Intentions for Lent 2015, please read our latest blog entry.

Becoming More Missional - Sat, March 7th St Paul’s Parish Hall
Please view Bishop Ely’s video invitation to a short meeting 10am Sat March 7 at St. Paul's to talk with the Bishop about "Becoming More Missional":  More information can be found at Church Hall Meetings on DioVermont.org  It is important to be part of the conversation about where the VT church is going.   After our Sunday 10 o'clock service on March 8, we will also hold a short meeting to convey what was discussed on Sat., to reflect on the 3 presentations we heard during Feb. and to raise the question: "What about support for the outreach we each do in our daily occupations?"

Embracing Life’s Third Act:  A Day-Long Retreat - Sat, March 7th
Aging with grace, purpose, and integrity is both a challenge and an opportunity for those of us transitioning into—or already “inside”—the Third Act of our lives. We invite you for a day at Vermont College in Montpelier to join us in an exploration of those challenges and opportunities within a safe space created by a Circle of Trust. Circles of Trust are associated with the work of Parker Palmer, author/teacher, and the Center for Courage & Renewal, www.couragerenewal.org
For more information and/or to register for the retreat, please contact David Leo-Nyquist at dleonyquist@gmail.com or (802) 233-5565
