Daylight Savings Time begins March 13th – Remember to spring ahead Saturday night so to be on time Sunday and not be really late for church!

March 11 - Bargain Bin Kick-off Meeting Dear Chairs and “Chair-Like People”, The time has come to put in motion the astounding, stupendous, biggest show on earth, there’s nothing else like it : (drum roll) BARGAIN BIN. Let’s gather next Friday night, March 11, at the Parish House, at 6:30, to "light the fuse”, “pull the switch” , “wake up the sleeping giant”, “poke the dog”, etc, etc. And we'll revive Jeff and Jill’s tradition of eating pie and ice cream to start off in a celebrative mood? So what if it’s LENT? I’m up for making a bunch of pies and I may call a couple of you for a single one. I’m sure we can think of a few things to start doing (sow seed, list-serve publicity), hopefully nothing too onerous. Yours, Jon

Ukrainian Easter Eggs Workshop - A workshop to learn how to make Ukrainian Easter Eggs will be offered on Saturday, March 12th from 2 to 5pm. It's a meditative way to work in Lent. Supplies will be provided. A donation to cover the cost is appreciated. Adults and youth age 12 and up are welcome, and we recommend that an adult accompany each youth (we'll be working with an open candle flame and uncooked eggs). Please contact Pam or Carl Hanson to sign up or if you have questions.

Lenten Ingathering for Episcopal Relief and Development*: *This Sunday is the designated day for the annual Lenten ingathering for Episcopal Relief and Development (ERD). As most of you know, ERD is the outreach arm of the national Episcopal Church. It responds to disasters around the world and also supports development in Third World countries. Vermont received a relief grant to the diocese after Hurricane Irene. Usually ERD works with local Anglican churches or other groups to deliver this aid. Please support the ERD by including a donation in the Sunday offering. Checks should be made out to St. Paul's with "ERD" on the memo line. Thanks for your help! Kristin Wood
