Almighty God, whose Son our Savior Jesus Christ is the light of the world: Grant that your people, illumined by your Word and Sacraments, may shine with the radiance of Christ's glory, that he may be known, worshiped, and obeyed to the ends of the earth; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who with you and the Holy Spirit lives and reigns, one God, now and for ever. Amen.

Annual Meeting is Saturday
Our Annual Meeting is Saturday, January 24, 2015 starting at 5:30 with a "real" (what you bring is guided by the spirit) St. Paul's potluck. The business meeting will last from about 6:30 till about 7:30.  Importantly, we will elect 3 Vestry members, 3 convention delegates  and 3 alternates. So search your hearts if God, or a Vestry member, is calling you. At least two new Vestry members are needed, as Jon Chaffee is willing to stand. We will look at the 2015 budget, hear from the MDC, reflect on 2014 and share hopes for 2015.  The Bishop intends to attend and we intend to have fun.

Annual Reports Due - DEADLINE THIS FRIDAY
This year's Annual Report will do double duty as a history of 2014 and as an introductory guide for our new rector. Every group, gathering, and effort at St. Paul's belongs in the Annual Report. Reports can be brief as long as the essentials are covered. Paula Stevens has volunteered to put it all together for us and has set the submission deadline as Friday, January 16. Please email submissions to Paula at: paulajstevens @ aol.com

A Thank You from Patti O'Shea
Dear St Paul's Family,  Thank you so much for your very generous gift. I am honored  being part of this beautiful, caring Christian family. During Christmas vacation we went to Virginia to visit our daughter.
As you know, I haven't been to the 10am service. I do miss seeing all of you. Since I am already down in this area all night with my health care job, it only makes sense especially in winter, to attend the 8 am service.
May Our Lord keep you well in this New Year 2015.
