From The Upper Valley Haven:
On winter nights when both of the shelters at the Haven are full there are still people with no place to go. Thirty years ago the churches of the Upper Valley joined together to create warm spaces for people to come in overnight. The Haven plans to open up a space in our main Byrne building at night where this “warming shelter” mission can take place. We will have regular staff oversight, but need the same sort of volunteers that came together three decades ago to keep the doors open. Please reach out to Laura Perez to learn more about joining the staff and volunteer team to monitor the proposed overnight warming space this winter.
