APRIL 1 - Altar Guild Spring Cleaning is Saturday April 1 starting at 9:00 AM. Coffee and Munchkins will be available. NOTE - we will be changing the Altar after church on the Second.
April 2 - Parish Discretionary Fund – On Sunday, April 2, the loose offering and any checks marked Discretionary Fund in the memo is given to the Parish Discretionary Fund. This fund is used to help meet the needs of people in our area during difficult times in their lives. The funds are generally used to help with electric bills or car repairs, rent or securing a security deposit for a family. We are finally able to start distributing funds again. The need continues to be extremely high with requests coming in almost every day. Please be as generous as you are able. This is an important ministry of our Parish. Thank you, Scott
April 4 - Lenten Series – Having Conversations that Matter – Tuesday, April 4th our Lenten Series will continue – Having Conversations that Matter from 6:30-8:00 in the Parish Hall. We will gather for discussion and conversation. Each session is independent of the others. Hope you will join us!
April 8 - Pysanky – Ukranian Easter Eggs - A workshop for making pysanky – wax-resist dyed eggs – will be offered 2-5pm Saturday April 8th in the Parish House, upstairs. Please RSVP to Pam Hanson pamela.r.hanson@comcast.net so that we can purchase enough eggs. You don’t need to bring anything, but wear older clothes in case of any spills or splatters. Children may attend if an adult is present to assist them. A small donation to cover the cost of materials would be appreciated.
April 9 - Brookside Nursing Home Eucharist Service- Our April service will be April 9th, 2-2:30. Volunteers come at 1:45 to help set up the room. We will also have Service on May 14th and June 11th. We will continue services at Brookside Nursing Home in September.
April 24 – Bible Study – Due to Holy Week and Easter we will skip our normal April 10 gathering. We will meet next on Monday April 24 at 7 PM in the parish House. The readings for the week are Acts 2:14a,36-41, 1 Peter 1:17-23, and Luke 24:13-35 . All are Welcome !
May 14 - REMINDER - UTO (United Thank Offering) In-Gathering - The UTO Ingathering is now going to be "gathered in" twice a year. These In-gatherings represent our thanksgiving for the blessing and graces extended to us through God. These coins really add up if we discipline ourselves to practice doing this. Above all it helps keep our minds alert to the blessings going on in our lives and minds everyday. Last year well over $1,000,000 was given out as UTO grants for world projects - one to Rock Point here in Vermont.
Announcing our New St. Paul’s Pledge Secretary - With deep and heartfelt thanks for the many years that Dee Roberts has served as the pledge secretary at St. Paul’s, the Vestry accepted her resignation this year, and has officially appointed David Davison (after asking, and his acceptance, of course!) to serve in that position. Wood Needed - Kathryn's Girls Scout troop is looking for pile wood (1/2 inch to 3/4 inch) and 2x4’s for a project for their Silver award. They are making collection boxes for the Plainfield food shelve. They are trying to make it a green project by using leftovers from other projects. Please contact Marge Brennan if you have any leftovers.
Maundy Thursday Soup and Bread Dinner??? – Are you interested in having a simple soup and bread dinner (6 PM) on Thursday, April 13, before the Maundy Thursday service at 7 PM. If so, please gather with Pam Hanson at coffee hour to coordinate the event. This dinner will only happen if you come together and organize it. (set-up, clean-up, organize the food etc.)

- The envelopes for Easter Flowers are in the pews. If you are writing names for Memorial or Thanksgiving, please PRINT clearly. If you use one of the larger forms, please give it to Fr. Scott or a member of the Altar Guild.
- Memorial Communion Linens - Poster is hanging in the Parish Hall, please be sure to check it out. Donations may be made toward the project by making your check out to St. Paul's, with Memorial Linens in the memorandum line.

Good Friday Offering – now through Good Friday – We will be collecting toward the Good Friday Offering from Sunday, March 26 until Good Friday, April 14. This offering is collected across the Episcopal Church to support the four dioceses in the Province of Jerusalem and the Middle East. The money collected is used to promote peace and mutual understanding through pastoral care, health care, and educational programs throughout the region. Good Neighhbor Health Clinic Dinners – we need your help!
Who: St. Paul’s Church commits to
What: Provide dinner for 8-10 volunteer staff (entrée and side dishes OR soup,
bread & salad OR a 1 dish meal: really whatever you might prepare at home!)
When: On the 4th Monday of each month, delivered by 5pm,
Where: To the Clinic in downtown White River Junction.
How: Please sign up to provide a meal, either on your own, or as a team with others!

June 17 and 18 River of Life Pilgrimage in White River – Save the dates for fun and educational events near and on the river June 17 and 18. Details are being ironed out but will include presentations and fun at the Montshire Museum, paddling on the river at Kilowatt Park, worship with Bishops from across New England. It should be a great couple of days so plan on partaking! More information to follow. Keep alert!!

Contemplative Quiet Prayer and Meditation - is held in our sanctuary 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month.
This Lenten season, we will also have Contemplative Prayer time April 19th. In May, we will return to 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month, May 3rd and 17th.

Caring for Our Most Vulnerable Children - Do you want to contribute to the well-being of the children in your community? Consider volunteering as a court-appointed children’s advocate – become a Guardian ad Litem. There are many children in the Family Court system because of abuse, neglect, delinquency or custody disputes.Volunteering to become a Guardian ad Litem means YOU can be a voice for a child and speak to their best interests during the court process - helping get them to a safe, permanent home quickly. Comprehensive training and ongoing support are provided. Next 3 day training is May 3, 10, 17 at the Hotel Coolidge in White River Junction, VT. - Discretionary Fund Reminder – First Sunday of every month. Please be as generous as possible.
- Laying on of Hands – On the first Sunday of every month those wishing to receive laying on our hands are invited to gather at the Baptismal Font (just as you entered the church) immediately after you have received communion.

- Worship Team meets – 2nd Thursday of the month in the Church Library at 4pm, all are welcome to attend.

- Showing Up for Racial Justice (SURJ) sponsors two regularly scheduled events open to the public: Mondays, 5:30 – 6:00 pm, on the corner of the green across from Hanover Inn, Vigil for Racial Justice.
