Bike Drive to Benefit Migrant Farmworkers in the Upper Valley - Most of these farmworkers don't drive or have a car, they could really use a bike to get around. With access to bikes, migrant farmworkers will have increased mobility and independence, as they won't have to depend on others for transportation to the grocery store or to visit family and friends at nearby farms. Ultimately, we aim to tackle the isolation prevalent in migrant farmworker communities, and we think bikes will tackle this problem two-fold, both in a practical and recreational way. Our goal is to collect 15 bikes by the end of May. If you are interested in donating a bike, or connecting us with someone who might be interested, please e-mail me directly at Josefina.A.Ruiz.17@dartmouth.edu.

The Sunday of the Passion: Palm Sunday – April 9, 2017
Almighty and everliving God, in your tender love for the human race you sent your Son our Savior Jesus Christ to take upon him our nature, and to suffer death upon the cross, giving us the example of his great humility: Mercifully grant that we may walk in the way of his suffering, and also share in his resurrection; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Last year well over $1,000,000 was given out as UTO grants for world projects - one to Rock Point here in Vermont.
